Summer Celebrity Fashion: Bikini Beauty Edition

Memorial Day is typically the unofficial start of summer.

While many of our readers may currently be relaxing on the beach, The Hollywood Gossip staff is hard at work bringing you the season's hottest trends.

Today, we focus on that sexy piece of swim wear favored by Lindsay Lohan, Gemma Atkinson and other large-breasted celebrities: the bikini.

Here's a shot of the former, trying to draw attention from any warm-blooded male that crosses her path:

Mischa Barton is seen here in a bikini. We know it's difficult to see, of course. After all, the rail-thin actress is almost invisible when she turns to the side.

Uma Thurman looks very pretty in this picture. The Kill Bill star is walking along the beach in nothing but a bikini.

Spring And Summer Fashion Trends Of 2008!

With Spring right around the corner it’s time to start following the new trends in fashion apparel and accessories. Today we’ll take a moment to catch you up to speed with what fashion trends you can look forward to seeing in the upcoming Spring and Summer 2008 seasons. * Fabrics: chiffon, lace, silk.

Dolce & Gabbana:

* Bronze croc-look lamé jackets, flared pants, minis, nude-and-fuchsia chiffon dresses.
* Belted fine-gauge cardigans, cuff shorts, wide-leg jeans.
* The collection looks unexpectedly bright and cool, nothing in common with these too sexy clothes.

* Fifties, stripes and stars.
* Blue-jean everything.
* Wide-leg jeans.
* Star prints and red-and-white striped jackets.
* Organza evening looks.
* Masculine-feminine tailoring.
* Ballerina lengths.
* A huge variety of trends, able to satisfy almost any taste, clothes with pearls, chains, bows and other accessories. Perfect for the elegance-seekers. Some clothes can be added to the collection of the most demanding fashion-lovers, these things will be new variations of the “Little Black dress”.

Fashion Rio: Brazilian Fashion Week Summer 2008. Full Coverage

It goes without saying, that Brazilian Fashion Week has nothing in common with the Paris one. But, it doesn’t mean, that we mustn’t cover it at all, yeah? Want to know why? At least, because I really love Gisele Bundchen and then I suppose, this coverage is the smallest favour I can do for them. It’s not much, yeah? Especially when the show was that nice.

Unfortunately, my beloved Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen was absent ((( but young designers didn’t fail, they tried their best and showed us really hot collections. The spring/summer 2009 collection was devoted to the theme of recycling, Rio Fashion Week offered a fresh new outlook to fashion. Main motto: “Rethink, Recycle, Renew”. The event will end June 13th.

The first designer to enjoy is Maria Bonita Extra with her lovely elegant silhouettes, flowers and hats. Charming )))

Now it’s time for Mara-Mac fashion show and their Grecian Goddesses and emphasizes of beautiful women body. Love the belts and white colours )))

Finally, Salinas swimwear impressed me. So easy, so bright and so nice )))

Celebrities Coverage on Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2009 Shows

To tell the truth, I start hating this, I am not enough of summer hot trends yet and now it’s time to pick up autumn’s and winter’s ones. It’s so challenging ))) Don’t you think so? Anyway, before providing you with the full report from Paris Fashion Week (Haute Couture, Autumn/Winter Season 2009) let me share with some picture of celebrities attending them.

Claudia Schiffer looked a bit unusual (I mean not in her usual way). She has some resemblance to a secretary, but I like her look.

Eva Mendes - the combination is OK, just don’t like her shoes, too much of sparkles and hair-do.

Linda Crater has impressed me. She looks stunning and fresh. Yellow is her colour.

Liv Tyler. Well, like her dress but to my mind, it’s better for her not to leave it somewhere… she can have some problems with all these stripes.

Haute Couture Fall 2008 From Dior, Lacroix and Gaultier

This year Haute Couture Fall 2008 fashion show was bright and once again bright. I mean it. It was full of dazzling hats and neon tights, super bright dresses and high hairdos. What is more, it was fresh and new. Enjoy!
